MacNN Reviews the Brain Cell and Super Ego

On the Brain Cell
“Like most of us, I have to trust my instincts as to the robust nature of the laptop sleeve I choose.

Tom Bihn’s sleeve, aptly named the Brain Cell, is one of the few that inspires my confidence.” Read the full review.

On the Super Ego:
“Pockets on this bag are a dream. The main compartment is massive, plus it is behind the flap, so you do not have to unbuckle the bag to get at the computer. It easily held my laptop inside the well-padded and firmly reinforced Brain Cell sleeve. Additionally, I fit loads of papers and folders inside, and it felt like it could have taken much more. The secondary pocket under the flap holds all my power bricks in pockets, but also provides a well large enough for 25’ of Cat-5 cable and my lunch. Not my drinks, of course, those are held firmly in two large bottle holders with compression straps, on either side. For easy access, there are splash-proof zippered pouches on both sides of the center under the flap, and four large pouches for quick access.” Read the full review.

Tom recommends: Jimi iPod Nano Case

Tom's iPod Nano and Jimi Case
Tom writes:
“I’ve been using a Ruby Red Jimi iPod nano Case now for a couple of months, and all I have to say is this: cool. It adds lot o’ protection (I’ve
dropped the thing twice now with no injury to my iPod nano) and color too, with very little added bulk or weight. The Ruby color is a ringer for my
Duncan Imperial® yo-yo, a fact that makes me smile whenever I see it.
Have an iPod nano? Buy a Jimi case for it. Don’t have an iPod nano? Buy that first.”
